i completely agree with the fact that an .swf player is needed but i also suggest fixing the way it plays any video, it never fits to screen and is always way out of wack.

This means you've encoded (or not) your video files to an incorrect height/width/aspect ratio. Read the PluginMpegplayer wiki page. If you have any more questions about this, start a new thread.

i think its a huge waste of time having to re encode/trans code every darned video just to watch it on this thing >:(
someone should make the player re-size it as it plays.

Sure, someone also just needs to overclock the cpu a lot then. Should be easy
