Hi, folks,
Looking forward to using RockBox. I have a 280R V1. I followed the Rhapsody install instructions. Everything went according to plan. At the end of the process, on the normal flash install boot, I saw the "installing flash" message, then it booted and stuck on the SanDisk banner screen. I know I can boot to recovery mode, but I'm not sure which firmware I should copy to recover. It always hangs on the "SanDisk" banner screen.
It may matter that it was getting low on space. How much free space should it have before the install?
thanks
edit:
I tried installing the Sansa firmware from rhapsody-1.0.2.165.zip and it didn't fix the problem. I also tried formatting it (with the sansa.fmt empty file), recopying the firmware several times. no workee. Hmmm.. Ideas?
2nd edit:
I suspect I'd like to try re-installing the boot loader, but can't figure out which one to use or where to find them. It's a e280R. Recovery mode seems to work just fine.
ciao
