i am a newb with rockbox and i was wondering is the mixtape wps broken?

it says any recent daily build but it doesnt seem to be working for me, i have the theme for it but the play screen is just text, no tape or anything.  i have no clue as to how to fix it or anything since i do not know much about computers.

i tried removing the %P like the post said but that didnt work, i also tried changing the %pb around but i dont really know what to do.  can someone please help me?

The old format was:
%P|filename.bmp|
%pb|height|left-position|right-position|y-position(optional)|

and the new one is:
%pb|filename.bmp|x|y|width|height|

which means that:
x = left-position
y = y-position
width = right-position - left-position
height = height
and the filename is copied from the %P tag.

It would be good if any fixed-up WPSes could be updated on the wiki.

I wonder if we could automate this update..? i.e. input to the program is the wiki page/URL, it then checks all attachments and if they contain %P, the old %pb layout is assumed...

I'm probbaly being very naive as to how hard this would be to code up, but it would likely be less man-hours than updating all the (decent) WPSes manually.

The old format was:

Just want to add something here: in the old syntax (almost?) every variable was optional and fell back to its defaults when nothing was specified. Using a pure "%pb" resulted in a 6 pixels high progress bar which went across the whole screen in the middle of the line the tag was on. This behaviour for a pure %pb was kept, only when you start specifying some of the variables you need to use a complete "%pb|image|x|y|width|height|" tag with a "-" in places you don't want to define.
