H320: disk full even though I'm only using 17GB out of 18.3GB

I scanned the disk within the player and it still comes up full...looks like I'm missing over a 1GB of disk space...any clue as to what's up?  I'm using version r18104-080720.

Any help is appreciated!  Thanks!

You may have a lot of OS system files on your hard drive that are cluttering things up. Try running the Disk Tidy plugin and see if that helps get some space back for you.

If it doesn't help, let us know.

Thanks for the tip...I tried it but no luck.  Just to clarify from my OP: When I highlight all the folders in my H320 within XP and right click and select properties, it comes up with 17.1GB on disk, but the HDD is 18.3GB as per rockbox and it shows 0KB left for free space.  I wonder where that 1.2GB of space went....I checked the recording folder just in case but no luck. 

I got it!  My iriver doesn't have a recycling bin.  I ran disk cleanup and it found 1.22GB's in the recycling bin, so I removed those files and wa la....thanks!
