[.Solved.] Important Rockbox Boot question.
SublimeRocks13:
Is there any way to make my ipod boot the original firmware by default, and only boot rockbox when i need it to?
I like using itunes to organize music, play purchased games, etc.
I only want rockbox for the gb emulator and ability to play ogg media.
If there is a way to do this i would love to know, thanks!
saratoga:
Edit the bootloader to have the boot order reversed, or find a bootloader build with it already reversed (no idea if one exists or not).
SublimeRocks13:
how do i do that lol? is there a file in the rockbox folder i can edit?

No, the bootloader is the tiny program you installed with ipodpatcher, and is the part which boots what you find in the ./.rockbox directory.
You will need to download the source code, make the change, and compile the bootloader yourself.
Rockbox will never officially release a default-to-Apple bootloader.
You really don't need one, as once you are in the Apple firmware you will stay in the Apple firmware until the player shuts down all the way (which is only after days of inactivity, normally it enters a low-power "sleep").
