this time i have installed it all over again....using the tabs to install in the RButil...what next?

no...the following message appeared...

could not detect a mountpoint. select your mountpoint manually....

So what did you mean by "using the tabs"?

Then your ipod is not mounted. What OS are you using? What Ipod? Did autodetection find the correct Ipod itself?
