Different Languages

Hello. I have an iPod Nano 1st Gen and I have recently installed Rockbox onto it. However I listen to  some Asian music and after installing Rockbox it won't show the Asian characters but show boxes or random letters instead. Also all my songs in the database show up as <Untagged>. Sorry but I am not very used to this program.
Can anyone help solve my problem please?

you need to use a font which has the required letters... have a look at unifont
