Sansa e280 has problems with themes

I'm using an older rockbox, r17727 as anything newer and all themes but one (can't remember now) only show at the upper 1/2 of the screen and arecrammed into that space.

Any ideas?

Also when I raise or lower the volume it's got a delay to it.
