So I had installed rockbox and everything went fine besiedes the video playback. The problem was there wasnt any playback. So I tried to get back to my apple os simply putting /.rockbox into another system. Then when I try to turn on, it shows the apple icon and then it shows
Code: [Select]

IPOD version: 0xFFFFFFF
Toshiba MK3008GAL
Partition 1: 0x0B 28521 MB
Loading Rockbox...
Error!
Cn't load rockbox.ipod
FIle not found
Hold MENU+SELECT to reboot
then SELECT+PLAY for disk mode

My computer cant seem to find ipod, when its connected, so I cant redoo my damage!
iPod: 30gb 5g video
Computer OS: Ubuntu linux 8.04
Please help getting me back my iPod!

If you read the manual, dual booting is explained in this section. There's no need to move the .rockbox folder off of the iPod at all.

Put your iPod into disk mode as instructed, then copy your .rockbox folder back and follow the manual's instructions for dual booting.

Also, please change the name of the topic thread to remove the profanity.

Thank you very much! I am sorry about the topic's name, its just that this is the second day after I got my iPod out of the repairs.

I changed the title of the topic since it gave the impression that Rockbox screwed up your iPod.  In reality, you just didn't know how to either properly dual-boot or uninstall.
