arboxWidgets & other themes fix

The themes I've posted have been broken since the progress bar and left margin tags were removed. I've fixed and uploaded some of them, the rest will be fixed shortly. A few changes will also be introduced on some of them.

Already fixed and uploaded (all for iPod video):

-  newClix
-  nerdSketch
-  rayboradio_OB (thanks DavidKauffmann & WolfAlcourt)

Yet to be modified/uploaded (by Sunday July 13th):

- arboxWidgets (iPod video, Gigabeat, Sansa, iPod photo)
- Pen & Paper plus Album Art [keeping Waving Man] (ipodVideo)

Thanks Chronon, it'd be great if you could upload it  . I want to make a couple of changes (numerical volume & battery - like in the video's version -, modify the progress bar when rew or fww), but since those changes will take some more time, I'd really appreciate if you would upload your fix so the theme won't be broken anymore.

I just posted the working version.  You will notice that I defined a new viewport to contain the text and album art since the default viewport cannot contain text now if other viewports are defined.  The viewport simply fills the whole screen but allows for the text and album art to behave as expected.  The viewports that you had defined seem to get drawn properly over this one.

Is it easy to fix the themes?

Just wondering if it would be easier to post a tutorial showing how to fix them so that everyone could lend a hand at fixing them rather than spending that time doing it yourself.

I'd definitely help if I knew how to do it.

If the theme is broken because of the recent change in the %P, %pb and %m tags, in general terms it shouldn't be too difficult to fix them (the progress bar fix is very easy and many of the themes only need that), some just could need more time than others (for example if conditional viewports are needed...) I saw that thread, but it doesn't explain all that much to be honest.

I think what I'm asking is for a tutorial that says replace "x" with "x" or something to that effect so that anyone can fix the themes.

The Sansa version has now been updated to the wiki too: arboxWidgets for Sansa

Since I have only tried it on the simulator, it would be great if you could give some feedback about if it works OK, and also if the change regarding the numerical values (system font) now displayed in the volume and battery widgets look OK on the actual Sansa screen

I have some issue installein the sim

1. if i compile the sim and then do "make install" it installs .rockbox in the archos folder
it seams to work but when i play a song i get a seqfault

2. if i instead download a .roxbox firmware for sansa and install it in the archos folder manualy it works no segf but i get "codec elf invalid message"

To get the sound to work do i need a old /dev/dsp device or should the new alsa drivers work?

Now i have checked arboxWidgets with my sansa 280 (e200)

What was the problem there?

if you use the %ATTACHfile line as a link, and have previously updated the file you want to link using the "manage" tool on the wiki, %Attachfile always takes the first version of the file you uploaded. I just replaced that %attachfile link with the direct link, which looks like this blabla/your device file rev=X/yourfilename.ext where x stands for the version or how many times you have updated the file. I don't know if there is an option to use the  %ATTACH line to also work with the revision tag like %ATTACHfile rev=2... Maybe one of the devs can comment on that?
