Finding Patches
« on: July 08, 2008, 09:45:51 AM »
Hi,

I'm wanting to compile Rockbox for my iPod 5.5 gen.  It's been a while since I've done this and I want to compile one-click insert and album art into the build.

Is there an easy way to find these patches?  Flyspray doesn't appear to be great when searching, and brings up all sorts of unrelated patches.

The one-click insert patch it finds hasn't been modified for a couple of years but presumably still works?  Or is there a newer improved one which isn't obvious?

There are no very obvious candidates for album art display.  Has this been incorporated into the main build?  I can't find anything about it on the WPS tags page of the manual.  The only one I thought likely was "new tags for WPS and tagcache" but that's a couple of years old and I'm not convinced it's the one.
If anyone could educate me as to better searching technique within Flyspray or point me to the patches I'm after (or better still both), I'd be most grateful.

Cheers,

Guy

The search on Filespray works fine.  You're probably not finding the album art patch because it was closed when it was accepted into SVN.  If you want to search closed tasks, you'll need to change that under the advanced search options.

Thanks for that.  I wasn't having a go at Flyspray - it just returned a lot of unwanted results for my initial searches.  Adjusting the advanced options helped a lot though.

Cheers,
