Trying what?

Tried to use a card reader/writer
Chronon:
Are you sure that the card reader that you're using supports SDHC? Is the card formatted?

Hmm, that might be the problem. I have on of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HU2CCC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top. I'm not sure if it supports SDHC, possibly not.
I can't format the card because my computer cannot detect it.
EDIT: That doesn't seem to be the problem. I've check online and this device supports SDHC. Any other ideas?
MarcGuay:
This search reveals that it is *not* in fact compatible with SDHC cards:

Ah, here is where the confusion lies:
--- Quote ---Q: What formats exactly does this reader read? does it read the high capacity SD cards?
A: I finally got to the bottom of this. Sony has changed the spec on this unit but has kept the same model number. There is a manufactured date on the bottom of the unit. If the date is Nov07 or later it will support SDHC. The packaging will also indicate support for SDHC. Unfortunately you can't see the manufacture date or the packaging when you order it online.
