Cannot detect my 4gb Micro SDHC

(1/6) > >>

DanielBurns11:
I have a Rockboxed Sansa C240, and I wanted some more space so I got a 4gb Micro SDHC. But for some reason my computer is not recognizing it. I connect my player to my computer, and there is the Sansa drive in which to add/remove songs, and Removable Disk (H:), but when I try to access Removable Disk (H:) (the Micro SD card) it just says 'Please insert a disc into drive H:.'

If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Danny.

Rockbox supports the High Capacity cards but the e200/c200 version 1 (what you have) Sandisk firmwares don't, so you need to use a card reader/writer for now.

OK, I just got done trying this. When I tried to access my card I got some sort of I/O error, whatever that is. Is it possible that my card is defective?

BTW, when I put it in my player, under 'System' it says that I have 3.7XGB of space. So I don't thnik the card is faulty.

 ???

I believe that you could also copy and paste the files from the internal storage to the SDHC card whilst in Rockbox by using a long-click on the directories that you wish to copy/move.

Hope that helps.
