Rockbox Ports are now being developed for various digital audio players!
Rockbox supports the High Capacity cards but the e200/c200 version 1 (what you have) models don't, so you need to use a card reader/writer for now.
OK, I just got done trying this. When I tried to access my card I got some sort of I/O error, whatever that is. Is it possible that my card is defective?

Are you sure that the card reader that you're using supports SDHC? Is the card formatted?
Q: What formats exactly does this reader read? does it read the high capacity SD cards?A: I finally got to the bottom of this. Sony has changed the spec on this unit but has kept the same model number. There is a manufactured date on the bottom of the unit. If the date is Nov07 or later it will support SDHC. The packaging will also indicate support for SDHC. Unfortunately you can't see the manufacture date or the packaging when you order it online.
This search reveals that it in *not* in fact compatible with SDHC cards:http://www.google.com/search?aq=f&hl=en&safe=off&q=MRW62E%2FS1%2F181+sdhc&btnG=SearchAh, here is where the confusion lies:QuoteQ: What formats exactly does this reader read? does it read the high capacity SD cards?A: I finally got to the bottom of this.
