I assume it charges normally when booted into OF, so it's just the install that more difficult than other ports.

says that the V is the same as the S, but I couldn't see any other info to confirm. Do you know if the install works on the V  in the same way as the S.

It says that the hardware components are the same. There could still be differences, and I've not heard of anyone running rockbox on a V.

hummm do I dare being the guinea pig when I don't know enough to get myself outa trouble.....

I wonder how a S build would turn out on a V since the screen is a different orientation. Any thoughts?

Don't try a S build on a V.

And if you have the slightest doubts, don't try to run Rockbox on the S either yet.
