Rockbox Ports are now being developed for various digital audio players!
So I cracked my gigabeat F's screen and with no replacement parts in sight Im starting to think about what my next RB'ed player will be.
My other thought was an iPod, Im just a lil wary of the processor speeds as I enjoy mpegplayer and rockboy. can anyone ,who has used both, comment on any noticeable pros/cons in performance?

The other ipods don't have that, but they have a much smaller screen. I'm also a bit doubtful about rockboy playability on the ipod. The controls really aren't designed for general gaming. I don't really know though, as I never actually used rockboy
The only functionality missing from the Gigabeat S port is charging. Every other bit of Rockbox works fine.

this page http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/TargetStatussays that the V is the same as the S, but I couldn't see any other info to confirm. Do you know if the install works on the V in the same way as the S.
