Rockbox OS won't refresh database

I did the reverse build, so it loads sansa first. I also added a new folder called songs, since the music folder is hidden. Now when I add songs it will refresh in the sansa firmware, but not in rockboxes. Because of this I can't put on any new songs. I read the sansafaq and it didn't help me.

I went to database settings and did initialize now and update now and those did not help.

Update: I retried the initialize and update database and it worked, I don't know why it didn't work the first time.

1) This is(was) not an installation question.
2) When using an unsupported bootloader, all questions should go to where you got the unsupported bootloader from (the thread). If you'd like to use the official forums, please use only official software.

well now i am able to get the songs when I manually choose to initialize and refresh update, but it does not do this automatically and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it. I went to the settings and turned the auto update on, but it still doesn't do it automatically. I am on a sansa e270 and using the reverse rockbox firmware, where it loads the sansa firmware first and I have to hold select to load rockbox.

As I said, unsupported versions are not supported. If you wish to ask for help here, update to the newest version, with the bootloader that we provide rather than the reverse one, so that we can be sure you're using the right version software in every area.
