Transferring playlist from computer to rockbox

(1/1)

Tibbles:
Hello! I am having trouble putting an M3U playlist I created from Media Monkey into Rockbox on my Ipod. Well, actually, I can do it, but when I try to play it on Rockbox, it only reads the title of the song and it kinda just tries to figure out the rest of the information and it won't play the track. I've been trying to figure out what to do, but before I do anything rash I wanted to post on here and ask for advice. So, here's a little snippet of what a playlist looks like that I created on Rockbox:

/iPod_Control/Music/F49/Aali.mp3

and here's one I created on my pc:

#EXTINF:250,Bob Marley - Waiting In Vain
..\My Documents\My Music\Music\Bob Marley\Legend\Waiting In Vain.mp3

So, there's obviously some differences. hehe. If I need to restart my entire everything from scratch, I'm fine with that. Right now I use MediaMonkey to synchronize my music, but if I need to start dragging and dropping, I'll do that. Anyways, I have no idea what to do. I'm just trying to give as much information as possible. Please help! Thanks!

saratoga:
You need to create playlists pointing to the music on your Ipod, not music on your PC.

Pick some program that can display music by the file tags, point it at your ipod, and then make your playlists.

Tibbles:
Thanks for the reply, but I don't know how to do what you're telling me to do. Also, don't you think it's weird how the playlists I made on my iPod with Rockbox look?

Yes, and I noted why they look so in the first of the two sentences in my reply.

Zardoz:
Add the music tracks to your playlist from your mp3 player while its connected and save it to your player
