5th Gen after Rockbox removal doesn't detect songs

Ok so I removed rockbox using the automatic removal tool as it was glitchy and now winamp does not detect the ipod neither does the ipod itself see that it has any tunes installed and it should be fine. i can only think formatting it would work. any suggestions?

Hi, I have an iPod nano, and when I removed RockBox, the same thing happened to me. After restoring my iPod in iTunes and then copying the songs on it again, everything worked. Maybe there is another way to solve that, but I think that restoring is really the simplest.
