E260 Sansa Won't Start after Installing Rockbox
« on: July 01, 2008, 03:49:18 AM »
First, there was green light and black screen on my e260 so I tried the Recovery steps with Device Recovery Setup. Didn't work so went on and installed using Rockbox steps that tell me to paste  i2c-e260.bin, PP5022.mi4, BL_SD_boardSupportSD, sansa.fmt files into the 16-MB window that opened when my mp3 was in recovery mode.

After pasting those files, my mp3 went on and reformated. Then when I press Turn-On button, nothing happens (no green-light, no response at all from player). Even when I plug it into the USB, no light, nothing... except on my computer, theres a popup saying Windows found new driver Tango Digital Media Platform.

Any help to fix my mp3 would really be appriciated. Thx
