Questions before installing

Hi still not new user here.

First I want to say that I read the FAQ and the manual and didn't find answers to all my questions, so here they go.

1. How much memory is it required to install RB? I have a Sansa e250 with just 2.0 Mb wich is enough for my music but it is almost full and don't know if it can accomodate RB.

2. If for some reason after trying it, I don't want to stick up with RB, can I go back to the original firmware? Would I have to download it or does it remain in somewhere?

1) Pardon, but you Sansa's capacity is measured in GB (gigabytes), NOT MB (megabytes). :) Anyway, a basic Rockbox install (there's an extras page; if you get only the current build then it's a "basic" install) easily uses up less than 10 MB. That's about the size of one or two average songs (but it's always a good idea to keep some free space handy).

2) Your original firmware (the OF, for short) stays on your Sansa; you can even boot to it while Rockbox is installed. Nevertheless, if you decide you don't like Rockbox, it is just as easy to remove as it is to install (provided you follow the instructions, of course :) ).

Sorry about the Mb/Gb confussion. Thanks for your answers. As soon as I have some time I'll install RB and if I get in trouble I'll get back with some questions.

Edit. The forum does not allow me to post an update, just to modify my previous post.

I installed it following all the steps. Reboot and run into a few minor problems (data and something else freezes) but fortunatelly those were problems other people had had before. I did a search and in no time I had an answer. Then the songs were not available, i went and removed the hidden feature and now it is running great. Thanks for your help.
