Help! my 1G iPod nano isnt conecting with the computer

You tried to do what?  LambdaCalculus made three separate suggestions:

1.  Try a different USB port.
2.  Try a different cable.
3.  Try a different computer.

Which of these have you tried?

It is also worth trying to reboot your computer.

1.i tried all the portes in my computher and reboot it
2.i tried with my dad's cabble
3. i tried a difrent computer.. and all the usb portes it has...

is my ipod dad ?:'(
cant i restoe my iPod manualy?

Try the following and describe exactly what happens:

1.  Reset the iPod so that it is no longer in disk mode by pressing and holding the Menu and Select buttons simultaneously until the iPod restarts.

2.  Turn the iPod off by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button until it shuts down.

3.  Turn the Hold switch to the on position.

4.  Plug in the USB cable.

it's turnd on the apple systam but it until not working..and the computer not respond..
there isnt way to restore his systam not from the ituns... manualy?

I'm sorry, but I can't understand your last response.  Could you please describe EXACTLY what happens at EACH STEP of the instructions I gave you?
