i tried doing MENU+SELECT and then SELECT+PLAY and plug in thw iPod to the computre and it's not working too...

Try using the ports on the back of your PC instead of the ones on the front. Also, try a different cable or a different computer.

Try the following and describe exactly what happens:1. Reset the iPod so that it is no longer in disk mode by pressing and holding the Menu and Select buttons simultaneously until the iPod restarts.2. Turn the iPod off by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button until it shuts down.3. Turn the Hold switch to the on position.4. Plug in the USB cable.
