Configuration Problems
(1/1)
Mike002:
Hi, I'm obviously new here and I'd greatly appreciate any help.
I've downloaded the rock boxutility onto my computer, opened it and it tells me to configure. I have an e200, and I've tried Autodetect but it doesn't detect it. I've also tried manually browsing but it only gives me a list of my 3 drives, but not my Sansa.
The error message is as follows:
'Your configuration is invalid. This is most likely due to a new installation of Rockbox Utility or a changed device path. The configuration dialog will now open to allow you correcting the problem.'
But, of course my problem hasn't fixed.
If anyone could please help me, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks to anyone. :)

Probably you need to do this:
--- Quote from: http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-sansae200/rockbox-buildch2.html#x4-80002.2 ---Warning: The following steps require you to change the setting in Settings → USB Mode to MSC from within the original firmware. Never extract files to your player while it is in recovery mode.
--- End quote ---

I was afraid of that. I was really hoping to install the voice that way I could know what I was selecting because a few months ago my screen broke and now a black blob appears over a white screen, hah.
Anyways, thanks so much for the suggestion, I'm pretty sure it's that now! I'll figure something out, thanks again! :D
