Finding recently added songs

hi everyone, im new to rockbox and i can't seem to find new songs that have been loaded on to it. I'm using Mandriva and using amarok for ipod management. It says the songs are added and i can even go into the ipod with the device manger and play them from the device. however, when i use the ipod itself on the move i can't find the songs in my song directory.
any suggestions?

iTunes (and thus Amarok) hide the songs. You'll need to use database if you're syncing with something like that.
