Can't install to Sansa; ZIP file corrupted?
(1/1)
Gannon8:
Hi, I downloaded the binaries for my Sansa C200. When I unzip however, it says some of the files have an unknown compression method in 7Zip, and on Linux, that the headers are bad.
The Automatic installer does not detect my device. I set up the config with the mount point, but when I tried installing, it said "No Sansa Fount." Going to Install > Install Rockbox gives me an error when extracting files.
I do have it in MSC mode and the firmware is compatible.
Any and all help is appreciated.
Chronon:
Maybe the download got corrupted? Try downloading again. The archives should check out fine, so something is awry if you are seeing complaints from your archiving tools.
By mentioning the compatibility of your firmware are you trying to say that you have a v1 device?
Gannon8:
Eh, I guess the file was corrupted. That has never happened before :)

Do you have the required permissions? You need Administrator permissions for bootloader installation to work.
