replaygain/playlist question: "track mode when shuffling" and "insert shuffled"

As I understand the "track mode when shuffling" setting in the Rockbox implementation of replaygain, if "Shuffle" is set to "no," then replaygain will be in "Album Gain" mode, right?

What if you have those same settings, select a saved playlist, and choose "insert shuffled"? Will that shuffled playlist still be played in AlbumGain mode (using those settings), since Shuffle is set to "no"?

Yes. It's only as to whether the shuffle option is on or off. If it's playing the playlist in the order of the playlist itself (which is what it does if you insert shuffled, but have shuffle off) then it'll use album gain.
