Rockbox bookmark feature question

Hello,

I'm listening to audio books and I'm very interested in a feature as described here: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=620.0
To make it simple all I want is:
stop listening to my audio file at some point (say minute 7:25)
turn off my player
when I turn it on to start listening at exactly the same file/time when I stopped last time

I am not using Rockbox yet and I don't have any supported player - I'm just going to buy one.
Do you know if I get this feature with Rockbox? Does it matter which hardware player will I buy?

I use the bookmark feature extensively on my iPod 5G.  It is one of the primary reasons I use Rockbox.  I am very happy with this feature.  I should add the the manual describes very clearly the bookmark features.  The only exception is how to delete a bookmark.
