I need advice about ROCKBOX, can someone help me

Software (such as Rockbox) can in no way whatsoever effect the hardware solder points on your player.

Much in the same way as playing a certain CD on your stereo cannot make your car break down.

i think your right, i may get the solder joints desoldered and have them resoldered in again, the mp3 player still works with the drive, i still turns on but the problem is i think i got it soldered in the wrong way the wire that was disconnected, i soldered in over a solder joint that was previously attached to it, maybe that will resolve all my problems

Maybe, but basically:

1)  You dropped it

2)  The impact broke it

Rockbox is in no way relevant here.
