1) This is not a question about installing Rockbox.
2) Please, do not PM members of the staff with questions like this.
3) Please, do not ask the same question in multiple threads.

And I'm telling you, right now, that as a member of the forums it's your responsibility to know the rules. You just broke them again in that last post. We ask that you use proper English, no "u" or "thx" or things like that.

If you don't familiarize yourself with the rules, you're going to end up with a lot less than an answer to your question, which is why I directed you to them. Take the time to read them.

Believe it or not, other people are busy too.  We all do this as volunteers in our spare time, in addition to work, families etc.  You cannot say "I'm busy, so you sort out my problem".  A little courtesy would go down well :)

The answer to the original question is: yes, it will work fine, as long as the hard drive is a single platter one.

Which it should be if it's really an X5L (with a large or better: second) battery. (The HardDriveReplacement page in the Rockbox wiki might also be of interest.)

single platter? well my harddrive that i have might be that but im confused, my harddrive is a 30 GB drive, i will try that out and see the results, but my main question is will that drive when it comes on the computer change and will it say Iriver H120? and if i exchange that one battery i have on my I audio X5L to the Iriver H120 will it have a longer battery life?
and iriver mp3 player i have the original drive was 20 GB will that 30 GB drive, work with it?

All your hard drive questions can be answered with the info on this page:

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/HardDriveReplacement

I'm unsure about the X5's batteries, so until someone with both devices answers, don't do anything battery related yet.

Thanks, it looks like my Iaudio X5L drive is the same with the thickness and connector, only thing that is different between the two drives is the capacity it holds and the original harddrive, and both the harddrives i have for both the Iaudio X5L and Iriver H120 they are both from Toshiba...i was wondering though on where i can get a replacement battery for the iriver H120 because the battery life on the mp3 player is very short, and it doesn't last long can i find a battery at radioshack that can be compatible with it?
