Unusual database problem - songs omitted in build

It does indeed seem to be a tagging issue. When viewed through the file browser, the only properties of the 'missing' tracks are path, filename, size, date and time added. All the tags usually present are missing in the fileview, but are present in the original files in my home directory. Perhaps this is a problem with synching via Amarok?

Sound juicer does not embed album art, if that's still relevant.

Are any of the missing Database Files appearing as untagged?
If so that's your answer. They were there just not where you expected.
