Lavenia Rebirth - WIP

Well, for what it's worth (*my* preferences) :

* *I* prefer alternating sublines to scrolling, but then scrolling will be un-evitable anyway given the smallish, square-ish screen of the H10 5gb...  I guess alternating sublines that do scroll when too long..  :p
* Because I almost always listen to albums, I don't really care about 'next song'. In fact, I had removed it from the subline when I last used your WPS.
* It's unfortunate that we couldn't write to the screen in vertical types : the codec icon would be prime target for replacement with battery time.  Maybe you can find some room in the 'extra info' box..?
* The clock is one of the feature I love (I don't have a wristwatch). However, I think it's good enough as it is now but, then again, you surprised us with some great functionalty before so..
* I like the stars, but you're the artist so you get to make the choice and statement (if ever there's one to be analyzes out of this ;) )
But anyway, if you comment it good, I'm pretty sure it's one prime candidate to personal modifications.  For example, I care more about musicianship than encoding so would probably replace a few codec/bitrate lines with artists/year stuff.

(how difficult was bringing multifont in sync with svn+condVP ?)

I'm definitely gonna try to port this one to the Sansa c200s. (GREAT job on the comments in the WPS, very helpful!) If someone beats me to it, though, it's cool. (It'll probably take me a month to figure the editing out.) ;)

Take care... all the Lavenia WPS Scripts around arent properly working... The easiest way to port it would be to take the WPS Script i'll post in the WIKI page.. The theme will be called Lavenia Rebirth. Wont take too much time i think until its ready... The editing is quite simple if you understood what each tag does. SO go for it as soon as its ready... If you have any questions i'll answer them!

I dont have in mind which revision i used exactly but it was very simple. Some rejects which were easy to fix just by finding the proper place of the rejected code...

Ok i think i'll try to add the following because you opinion nearly totally reflects what i thought:
- Big Clock if hold switch is activated... (and if possible battery time will be showed at small clock position)
- alternating scrolling sublines
-  hmm, the bitrate section could also be compressed a bit and used for battery... we'll see

UPS!!!: At the moment i ran into the problem that i already used the max amount of viewports... I am trying to reduce the ones i needed... to get a viewport for the "during-hold-button-active-screen" ;-)

blackthunder:
the one thing I didn't like about the old lavenia was the lack of the repeat mode and shuffle mode.

That shouldnt be a problem ;-) Will be included!

Will first update to current SVN and conditional-viewport-patch... Max numbers has been increased to 24 so i can go on...
