lol That really made me laugh. Any chance all that extra power could be put to use?

I did, but I don't want to learn how to do patches. Looks like I would need to build from source. Seems like a pain since you all made daily updates too easy.
Audio Snow:
I also have a charging problem, with my Sansa E260...
Mine won't charge at all, original firmware or Rockbox. It used to charge with the OF, but I updated Rockbox today (6-5-08). Now it acts like it's charging, the indicator will alternate as usual, but it never gets beyond 'very low'.
It's recognized by the computer, I can sync, etc, but it'll never actually charge.
Anyone else have this problem?
Llorean:
There's two parts to Rockbox, the bootloader and the build. We almost never change the bootloader unless we have to, and the build can't in any way affect the original firmware's performance (if you turn on from power off, and boot the original firmware, the build never gets run). So updating should no be the cause of your problem. Have you tried a different cable?
Audio Snow:
I updated the bootloader the same day I updated Rockbox, so it might be the bootloader. :-\
The cable I used works perfectly with my Rockbox-less Sansa E280. The cables for the E200 series are identical.
