Charging problem with Sansa E250

The cable I used works perfectly with my Rockbox-less Sansa E280. The cables for the E200 series are identical.

Swap the batteries between the 2 mp3 players. See if the problem stays with the battery.

Yeah, I was going to try that, with reservations, though. If player one is frying batteries, better to have one good battery than none. *shrug* :-\

Then it's pretty safe to say that it's a hardware issue that has nothing to do with das Rockbox...
