Getting my c250 into MSC mode

This isn't a problem with Rockbox, but my c250 v. 01.01.05P does not have a "Settings" menu on it anywhere.  I really (REALLY) want to Rockbox it, but if it doesn't get into MSC mode I don't think I can (I keep getting the "Configuration Error" when I try and run the Rockbox Utility, but I'm pretty sure that the c250 is in MTP mode).

Does anyone know how to switch modes in a Sansa c250 v. 01.01.05P?

You'll have to roll back your firmware to get USB mode. Instructions are here.

you can also boot it to the OF and connect it to computer if its in MTP mode on windows xp it will appear as a portal player, little picture of a player.
Now dissconnect from computer set hold to on and hold Rewind, replug player to computer this should now be MSC mode.
