No, doesn't make sense. If you want to change multiple values it would be really annoying if after changing a value you'd end up in the wps again. You can always press "play" to return to the wps.

For themes not loading correctly this is mostly to the themes being broken -- the parser has become stricter quite a while ago, and there are still themes around that haven't been adjusted. Another possibility is that the theme you're referring to requires a modified build.

Thanks blue, as I said I have alot to learn. for instance I just learned last night about the way you can still boot up Ipod firmware, and now you have explained how I can get back to wps. thanks.

Told ya my own ignorance would be an issue ;)

You're aware that our fine manual holds quite a lot of hints and explanations? ;) I can highly recommend it.

Err, nevermind what I said.

@ Elias ... i just started using Rockbox real recently myself so i aint no expert but does your ipod still act up with the original firmware? , cause if it does odds are it's the hardware that could just be messed up and not rockbox.

if possible did you try it on another friends ipod?

or even did u clean install rockbox or install it over the top of a older build? ... cause i aint sure if it matters with rockbox but in general on stuff like XBMC (XBox Media Center for XBox1 console) everytime you update to newest version it's recommended to clean install it (i.e. delete the entire .rockbox folder and transfer in the new build) as this way everything is 'fresh'.

did you try any of that stuff... if not, i would give it a shot and see what happens ;)
