iriver H10 CF

Since the iRiver 5/6gb H10 units use a micro drive it might be
possible to replace with a CF drive.
Has anybody tried this?  BTW the geeks have some for sale now.

If this is doable I might buy one for myself.

While those iRivers do indeed have a microdrive, as far as I know it isn't one with a compactflash connector.

Looking up the drive model the 5 and 6 GB H10s use, I've managed to find out that it uses a CompactFlash Type II form factor, so you should be able to swap it out with a CompactFlash card without needing to get a separate adapter.

The 5 and 6 GB drive have ZIF connector on their drives. I've looked all over the place for an adaptor but have found nothing.

I ended up replacing my dead 6GB drive with a 5GB I found on ebay.
