Problem with new e250 fm

Hello!

I just got my new sansa e250 fm and have a problem installing the rockbox firmware....
Under the Options point Settings/Einstellungen (i am from austria) i can not find a point to change the USB Mode!
So i simply tried it without changing it, got the .rockbox files on the player, but the bootloader installation did not work as the device could not be found, great, isnt it?

can someone help me plz?!

It's possible that you have a v2 version of the e200.  See the SansaE200 wiki page for details on how to identify it.

didnt find a sort of wiki, just the obe from rockbox and another forum
how do i find out which version i have?
and is it possible to install rockbox on th eother version?

There's a wiki here, look at the bar to the left.

i mean, if its only some weeks i can wait, otherwise it will go back to amazon, as soon as possible...

There's a long way to go yet. And there's no guarantee it will ever happen.

do you know where i can get a version 1 sansa with FM online?
i have one without FM and would like to have FM

It's possible that the Sansa v1 you have which doesn't have FM capabilities in the original firmware does in fact have the FM hardware, which Rockbox will activate.  Try installing Rockbox on it and see if FM Radio shows up in the main menu.

i tried it, it shows up, but does not work...

i hoped for that already 4 months ago ^^
