???Is Rockbox frying my H10???

well,
i am new to this hole rockbox thing but i wanted to try it on my H10 because i wanted FLAC audio support. anyways to make a long story short, i think rockbox must have some serious bugs that could fry my H10. here is what is happening. i have my H10 with the regular firmware and whatnot and it works fine, but when i install rockbox with the installer app, after installation and reboot, the harddrive spins alot, clicks, and the unit gets really hot. after i turn it off and let it cool, i reinstalled the standard system using the firmware recovery and the issues go away, are there any ways to fix this? has anyone else had these problems? how can i rid myself of these problems?
