only buggy builds since 17463 for IPOD 80GB?

The last working build for my ipod 80gb is 17451 from 2008-05-11.

After that all new builds render my ipod almost unusable during the first 4-5 minutes because of extensive scanning after booting when 'resume playing' is set for start screen or when i start a song during the first 60 sec after boot. The issue is described in a more detailed way in another topic:

Is there a chance that the bug be corrected again?
