Recorder V2 Charging circuit fried
« on: May 24, 2008, 07:56:18 PM »
I posted this to the Hardware section earlier and realized it's probably more appropriate here. Sorry for the double post. I just got a V2 which has a bad charging circuit. Everything else works fine. If you plug in a charger the screen says that the Archos is charged. There is no voltage on the battery terminals.  There is a z. diode right behind the charge plug that was fried that I replaced, still no charging voltage. Anyone have a schematic for this V2? or have rebuilt this circuit? or know which IC controls the charging? or any other ideas?  Thanks,
Rick
