Lifting objects on rockboy (Zelda)
« on: May 24, 2008, 11:32:19 AM »
I've been playing the Zelda games on rockboy, but can never beat them only because when I get the power bracelet, I can't lift any objects. I can do it just fine on the gameboy, so why does it not work on my ipod???

What button did you use in your regular Gameboy?  And how are your buttons set in your player?

I used the "b" button on my player and the same on my gameboy. (I use the "b" button so i can move while pressing it, which worked on everything else, but zelda)

Maybe it's a bug in that particular rom?  I don't really think it's necessarily the emulator what's giving problems.  You could try looking for an alternative rom (if one exists).  Another version, from another programmer or something.  If the same thing keeps happening, then maybe it's the emulator, after all... Or that's what I think.  Unfortunately, my technical knowledge is very limited.  Sorry.  :(

It's fine, i'm not necessarily a genius myself. I think it's the emulator because I've played two versions of Zelda on my ipod, and I ran into the same problem on both.

Try the same ROM on an emulator on your PC. Then you'll know if it's the ROM's fault.
