I05: DivX0 at 0013D0E2 - Corrupt file - H140?
« on: May 23, 2008, 08:18:36 PM »
Not sure whereabouts this should go, but when I browse the files on my Iriver H140 with all files visible. In the .rockbox root I scroll to a certain file and my H140 crashes with the following message "I05: DivX0 at 0013D0E2" I believe that the file that is causing this is called "Ç" and is apparently 102kb yet 0kb at the same time???

I've tried deleting this file using various methods/programmes (unlocker & starting in safe mode etc)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Assuming you use Windows, could you try using chkdsk -f on the drive?

Yup, get an error message along the lines of "Cannot delete; cannot find source file on disk"

Yes, it sounds like the FAT is corrupted.  I'm surprised in that case that chkdsk doesn't find any errors, it is normally very good.

Hi,

i once had a similar problem where i wasn't able to delete a file under Windows. It turned out that somehow the filemame had a leading space character. I think the solution was to rename that file via the command console (cmd) and then i was able to delete that file. Might be worth a try.
Alternatively you could back up your files on the player and reformat the harddrive.

Cheers everyone, I'll try renaming it through cmd, if that fails i'll back everything up and reformat.
