H140 -- folders and MP3s are there but when I peak in folders, don't see MP3s
Muse:
In USB mode I can see my MP3 files on my H140, play them in Winamp right from the HD. But when using Rockbox, I see nothing when I look in folders that have MP3s in them. If I press the play button, I get a message: "Nothing to resume" But I haven't gone to the Resume Playback item, I've used the Files item and navigated to a directory. What's going on?
If I use the iRiver firmware, MP3s appear to play normally. It's just using Rockbox that I'm having this problem.
I haven't used my H140 for a few months. It seems to have lost it's charge sitting around. I'm surprised that it would lose it's charge that quickly. It probably had about a 40% charge when I last used it 3-4 months ago. I charged it for 1.5 hours today, after finding that it wanted to shut down a few seconds after turning it on because of low battery power.
Thanks for any suggestions, etc.

To select a music file, click on it with navi (the centre of the joystick), not play. Play from the menu or filebrowser resumes playback, navi selects a new file.
As for seeing the files, what do you have the show files setting set to?
Having not used in for 4 months, I'm not surprised it needs an extended charge. It could well be that you need a new battery - LiPoly do age, and it must be old by now. I put a 2200 mAh battery for ~£10 in my H140, and it now lasts upwards of 29 hrs, so that is always an option.

Bingo! It was set to playlists! I have no clue how it got that way. I've never used playlists with my H140 (or my H130). Weird. I just changed it to All and now I see the files and can play them.
Where did you get your 2200 mah battery and what exact kind did you get? Thanks for the help!!
AlexP:
I got it from ebay (random seller), and it was an iPod 1st/2nd gen replacement. They are slightly thicker (but do fit) and you have to swap the wires in the connector as they are the opposite polarity to the H1x0. It has always worked fine for me, however, it was a no name battery and others have had problems with other (maybe the same, who knows) no-name batteries swelling and causing issues. If you want to be safe - you are better off going with a known name such as Cameron Sino (I hope I have got that name right). The overall rating may be slightly less (say 1800 mAh), but the actual capacity may be on a par or higher (who knows how no-namers rate their batteries), and the quality is much more assured.
Llorean:
I think Cameron Sino has a 1900, 2000 or 2100 battery specifically designed for the H120 series. I'm not sure of the exact capacity but it's sized to fit fine, and has the wires already right.
