help - cant access the folder that holds the mp3s

using the sansa c200 version. i plug the usb in to the player and the folder that pops up is the one with the rockbox files. theres no place for me to get to the mp3. I'd like to change the songs on my player, last time a had to remove rockbox add songs then reinstall rockbox. that was a pain. ohh yah I'm using xp sp2 and have a sansa c240.

Did you copy files via the Sansa's original firmware? If so, your music files are in a hidden folder called "MUSIC" on your device. Set Windows to show hidden files, and the folder will appear.

or set rockbox to show all files.

Also, there's a dual-boot feature listed in the manual here, which lets you access the original firmware.

ahh great, thanks. it was hidden, i dont have hidden folders on my computer, so i figured that my mp3 player didnt hide em either.
