How to play Flac in iPod 3rd Gen firmware v1.3
dev2608:
I have scratched my head and googled but nothing feasible comes up regarding how to play Flac in iPod.
First of all iTunes wont take files as .flac extension. I have gome through the manual as well and there is no mention how to transfer Flac to iPod.
I have looked at youtube as well but couldn't find videos on how to get the Flac files in ipod.
Can someone please help me out in transferring the Flac files to iPod and playing it.
Thanks in advance
AlexP:
Just copy and paste it.
Edit: I assume you have actually installed Rockbox?
Febs:
There is no way to play FLAC using iPod firmware v1.3. The only lossless format support by the iPod firmware is Apple Lossless Codec (ALAC).
As BigBambi notecd, Rockbox will play FLAC files.

AlexP:
Any folder you want (except .rockbox). You could make one called Music for instance.
