Any iPod builders around?
« on: May 18, 2008, 03:28:37 AM »
Hi,
So with the Classic not being supported an me really wanting as much HD space as I can get with a rockbox supported machine, and not having a clue about software/hardware myself, is there anyone around who builds 5.5g iPods with bigger HD's and rockbox installed and ready to go and sells them on? What's the biggest HD that can go in a 5.5g model and how much would I be looking at for a 100GB+ 5.5g?

Any feedback appreciated :)

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/HardDriveReplacement tells you what hard disk you need to go in what player.

For information, the MK1214GAH 120 GB zif-40 drive can currently be had for around £90-£100.
