0% IDLE its normal ?
« on: May 16, 2008, 08:24:04 PM »
hello, im a new user of rockbox in a SANSA e250  and when exploring the debug menu i noted that:

Core and stack usage:

Idle(0): 0%
Idle(1): 53%

When SANSA was doing nothing... i think its a bit stange that the  CORE 0 is being used 100%...

Is this normal ????

I think I had the same problem with my Nano after upgrading to the latest version. Solved mine by deleting the .rockbox folder and copying it again. Note that you will loose your settings, database info by doing this.

thats not cpu usage... its stack usage.... dont worry about it.. its not a bug or a sign of bad things happening

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

OK, mine was a different problem then, my CPU was always staying at 80MHz as shown in the Debug menu - and the battery dried out faster.
