Is it possible to revert channels ?

In that case I'd think it'd make more sense to swap the channels in the audio file/s, since there can't be that many of them, and you don't want to go swapping your channels every time you listen to that particular album.

Ah well I stand corrected. In general English invert can indeed just mean swap, but I was clearly ignorant of the technical term.

If you want to solder anyway you don't need a new jack connector: just use the existing one ;)
OR compile your own build: setting up the toolchain is really not difficult, and even if you do something wrong you don't loose any money (but If you make errors while soldering your headphones might be ruined) ...
