You really need to provide more information than that if you expect help.  Messages like this will usually get you quips about our lack of mind-reading powers.

Which target?
Which revision of Rockbox?
Which version of the bootloader?
Are there circumstances that can reliably cause a freeze?

ok not sure about the target. but its the current build of of the ipod video 30g. not sure about the bootloader version. Rockbox was working but freezing half the time during the opening rockbox label screen. just today i pressed the hold switch during bootup to load the original ipod firmware to do something. Then i rebooted normally and now rockbox freezes every time in the section where the name rockbox is displayed and its loading.

When did you install the bootloader?

Target = what player = iPod Video 30GB for you

Current build changes many times per day, therefore we need the revision number.  You can get that from system - rockbox info.

I think if you hold right on startup, the bootloader will tell you the version.
